The Gauteng Regional Contacts primarily serve all Burners in Johannesburg and Pretoria. However, we are also on hand for Burners from bordering countries – especially Namibia, Zimbabwe and Malawi and all Africa burners who don’t (yet) have regional representation.

Recent Events:
On the 13th of January we had our first major gathering of the African crew,
an orientation of the ethos of Burning Man and the Black Rock Arts foundation.
It involved a collaborative community building of what turned out to be a large
vessel with a man on it. This was burned, which then naturally led to a full
evening of festivities!
