Cincinnati
The Southern Ohio Burners primarily consist of participants from
the Greater Cincinnati area, as well as from Athens and it's surrounding
towns. Ol' Bill is in Athens and is the Co-RC for the SOB's. For
the past year our community has grown quickly and found many creative
outlets. We host monthly gatherings that usually feature several
workshop topics and a theme party. We have also had several official
Burns in our region including Scorched Nuts and octOHburn. We try
to participate in local art shows and community events, as well
as traveling to other region's events in Kentucky, Illinois and
Indiana. 2008 will be the first year that local participants plan
on camping together on playa and we welcome anyone who would like
to help create a SOB village.

Recent Events:
We have been very busy in our region! Scorched Nuts 07 was incredibly successful and so we had a smaller event, octOHburn in early October. Since then we have had monthly Workshop Weekends with topics such as Herbal Teas and Tinctures, Playatech furniture building, costuming elaboration and much more. We also had a wildly successful New Year's Eve Masquerade. In the rest of 2008 we have Scorched Nuts and octOHburn coming up again, as well as more workshops and theme parties.
