Regional Contacts
Minnesota
The Minnesota Regional Contacts serve primarily Minnesota, but
also act as points of contact for many burners in Western Wisconsin
and the Eastern Dakotas. Minnesota has a diverse and ever-expanding
Burning Man community that has seen a great deal of growth in recent
years. We enthusiastically reach out to other groups in the communities
we serve, tapping into the incredible arts community in the Twin
Cities and Duluth/Superior.
Outside of Minnesota few people realize just how rich and vital our arts community is, with a long-standing Art Car Parade, dozens of festivals and arts events, as well as being home to some of the most highly regarded institutions in the United States, including the Guthrie Theater and Walker Art Center. Larry Harvey's presentation at the Walker, "La Vie Boheme", should be required reading for any member of the Burning Man community that has ever been asked to explain Burning Man.

Recent Events:
The Burning Man community in Minnesota is very active, getting together at events
within our community as well as hosting frequent gatherings at our various homes.
We gather weekly throughout the year every Wednesday at Bob's Java Hut, a coffee
shop in Minneapolis that has made us welcome for many years. We actively encourage
new members of our family, as well as people who are simply curious about Burning
Man, to come visit and learn more about the event.
