Western Michigan
YES! There ARE Burners in Western Michigan! We’re spread somewhat
thinly, and it’s an ongoing process to unite them- But slo-o-w-l-y
we’re making headway. This is the “Blue Coast” of Michigan,
with an unusually large art-to-individual ratio and loads creative stuff
to do, although come Winter we tend to socially hibernate. Those artists
among us use this time to wall themselves up in their studios and generate
Wondrous Things. Those who share the Burning Man State Of Mind, even including
some who have actually been to the event, have been located in Grand Rapids,
Kalamazoo, Battle Creek…and discussions are underway with our fine
neighbors in Indiana, Ohio and Illinois as well as with our Canadian brethren
regarding the creation of an UberRegional Great Lakes Community!
