Miami
The
only foreign country within the borders of the continental US,
Miami is the South Coast of America, a suburb of Havana, an extension of
the Mediterranean and the Capital of Latin America all rolled into one. A
regional contact for this exotic port of call, we aim to bring Burning Man
to Miami’s
diverse community, provide burner tourism services for our many
cultural events and tropical paradise and offer sanctuary of Burning Man
culture for those few burners who live in the farthest metropolitan area
from BRC in the US.
We interact with Orlando RC Storm and West Palm Beach RC Donna and participate in the larger Florida Burning Man community. Still in its embryonic stage, the Miami BM community is beginning to plan local events and community art projects as well as being a resource for BM information. With our few members spread out across the playa, Villains & Virgins theme camp and the performance BBQ BM art project, the PlayaQ, both herald from our magical city.
