No doubt you have never considered Connecticut to be anything more than a sub-basement of Massachusetts… well, think again! Connecticut is a sleeping dragon; a sealed but shaken soda bottle; a suspicious 100-megabyte attachment; a rusty dust-covered steampunk breaker switch as large as your head!
The Oakburners (named after the Connecticut State Tree, the oak) are based in New Haven, but people join us from all over our postage-stamp sized state, and all are welcomed. Our ranks comprise teachers, doctors, programmers, computer scientists, graphic designers, chefs, hair divas… all contributing talents to make a whole greater than the sum of the parts.
