Regional Contacts
San Diego
We are three Regional Contacts located in San Diego. We also have a strong
presence in the Escondido area as well. We serve the Burning Man community
south of Orange County to the US/Mexico boarder and east until…Arizona.
We work with the Orange County folks a lot and have a close relationship
with them as well as many people from LA and even a few from San Francisco.
Our Community has several theme camps and has come together as Shangri La Village for Burning Man for Several Years. Shangri La Village has been a collaboration with the Arizona and Las Vegas Burning Man communities.

Recent Events:
We have recently started an LLC for our community and plan to continue our
Decompression events. We have also been getting together to make temporary
art in the medium of sand at San Castle Sundays. We have a lot of weekend long
events, and lots of fire spin jams and lots of nights out on the town. But
most things happen on the theme camp level and not on the overall community
level. But when the whole community gets together, well those are the times
that you want to be there.
