Los Angeles
Los Angeles is a huge and diverse community that encompasses many groups
and individuals with divergent and converging interests. We are about
4500 people strong, and are learning how to collaborate across groups
within Los Angeles and also with other regions such as Las Vegas, San
Diego, Santa Barbara, Portland and San Francisco.
Los Angeles has an annual decompression, many groups that hold a wide range of events and activities and is moving toward a time where we will begin giving grants to artists within the community to create. We also have town hall meetings from time to time to get the community together in dialogue.

Recent Events:
- Every February we hold a Town Hall Meeting to discuss and learn about community activities.
- Usually in June we host a “Newbie Orientation.”
- The first weekend in October is our annual Decompression festival.
- Monthly we host the Burning Man Film Series at the Egyptian Theater in partnership with American Cinematheque.
