Are you feeling lost and sad because you can’t go to Burning Man this year with your Burner family? Do you need a spiritual outlet closer to home? Come to The Sanctuary with all your burner buddies who were left behind! (And if they’re not on this invite…please invite them!!!)
This is the night that The Man burns at BM, so please bring anything you need to burn. A momento, a letter, etc.
10 Principles apply
Bring a snack
BYOB, but drink responsibly
Camping overnight is OKAY
Dogs are okay, as long as they are friendly to other dogs and humans
**Please do not bring fireworks or fire poofers of any kind. The area is surrounded by horse farms and the horses get scared and upset by loud noises**
This event is free, but donations are welcome!
The Sanctuary’s mission is to live in harmony with the environment, to share a spiritual practice inclusive of all and energized by the process of an evolving global consciousness, and to promote sustainable and non-violent ways of livelihood which value and protect our community’s health, wealth and happiness. A 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the Sanctuary is located on a 40 acre land preserve and features a yurt, drumming circle, labyrinth, community garden, apiary, composting toilet eco-temple, walking trails past quiet brooks, beaver ponds and forests.
To Park: Drive to the address listed on this invitation. See the purple mailbox labeled 59? Drive past it, and then take a left into the next driveway that has a spherical paper Chinese lantern hanging from a tree. Plenty of parking for everyone!
