Recent Events:
We have hosted a yearly burn for burners who have not been able to get to the playa, and decompressions for people returning from the playa.
We have hosted burner gatherings for burners visiting from San Francisco, Oregon, Antigua, Toronto, Vancouver.
We host annual “Information Nights” sometimes showing a BM documentary and having general dress up and discussions. We have hosted them at the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design as well as a local gallery “Fred”. These events are for new burners to meet up with us and ask any questions or get help with their plans to get to the playa.
Our core group is well represented in volunteer departments on the playa including Lamplighters and Fire Fighters and year round with Lamplighter volunteer coordination and council. Other local members have participated with various theme camps on the playa including Verbotium, and Erowid.
We have done 2 santa anarchy events both filmed as a perspective CBC
short films
