Halifax is the largest city east of Montreal and while we are officially representing the province of Nova Scotia, we have roots in many of the Atlantic provinces such as New Brunswick, PEI and Newfoundland.
We may be a small network compared to larger cities, we are tight-knit, strong in spirit and are proud to support and demonstrate the guiding principles in our hometowns.

Each year, we hold an info session for new and returning burners. It’s a great opportunity for valuable information sharing, maintaining friendships, meeting new burners and burners-to-be. In addition, we hold a decompression event in late September that enables us to all get together and share stories from the playa that year. Our numbers are growing each year and look to 2013 for a larger regional event to be held. If you are interested in being part of the planning, get in touch!
Our core group is well represented in volunteer departments on the playa and throughout the year including Arctica, Kidsville, Lamplighters, Emergency Services. As well, many of our community are active members of Couchsurfing.org, hosting travelers from around the world and spreading the Burning Man word.
Please check back for even more information about the Burning Man community in your area. We're gathering more details — coming soon!
