Victoria, BC, Canada is like a tiny asteroid out at the edge of the solar system, hovering beyond the gas giants that are the nearby Vancouver, BC and Seattle, WA communities (that’s right, I just said Vancouver and Seattle are full of gas – but in a loving way). We’ve got lots of veteran Burners as well as a huge crew of excited playa virgins: in other words, a diverse and growing community. Come meet us online or at an event and help us rock this little asteroid even harder! (triple pun and convoluted metaphor intended)

Recent Events:
On March 7, 2009, the Victoria Burner community gathered together to create a collaborative event called Carnivàle to raise funds in support of future community projects and events.
This carnival-themed event was a 1-night celebration of the powers of communal effort and participation. It was produced with inspiration from Burning Man and according to the ideals described by the 10-Principles.
The event featured a fantastic array of performances as well as several interactive installations and art projects. It was attended by approximately 115 people all of whom contributed to the event with performances, equipment, setup, teardown, art, and more.
