Philippines
Based in Makati, local to all of Metro Manila but currently covering the entire Philippines. We are closely aligned with the Couchsurfing organization and participate in many of the same local events. Meetups are usually scheduled around March to help local burners prepare appropriate visa applications for the annual US Consulate roll-of-the-dice. For those who successfully run the visa gauntlet - we meet in June to brief on Playa options (camps) and desert survival basics.
On Playa - we tend to place people with the Couchsurfing camp - they offer an excellent program for people travelling light. While we don't have a specific camp for the country yet - my door is always open at the Journeylizm Camp (international Media camp) and we are usually right near the Couchsurfers.
